W.A.R. Links Checker Premium - mental - 02-01-2016 The scripts on this site are designed for firefox but also work in chrome, opera, microsoft edge & other browsers. Before you can install or run any script you will need one of the script managers below installed in your browser. For Firefox Browser Greasemonkey 3.17 SCRIPTS WILL NOT WORK WITH GREASEMONKEY 4.0 OR HIGHER USE VERSION 3.17 IF YOUR USING A OLD VERSION OF FIREFOX, FOR FIREFOX VERSION 52 UP OR ANY OTHER BROWSER YOU MUST USE TAMPERMONKEY OR VIOLENTMONKEY. Tampermonkey  for firefox, chrome, safari, opera, Microsoft Edge, & others violentmonkey For Chrome Browser violentmonkey violentmonkey For firefox Browser violentmonkey violentmonkey For opera Browser violentmonkey violentmonkey For microsoft edge violentmonkey Click button to install Automatically checks links from hundreds of file hosts. live links show green dead links show red premium only links show pink temporary unavailable links show yellow After installing you need to open the configuration window and enable the hosts,for firefox Open the configuration window by hitting CTRL+ALT+C on the keyboard or from the greasemonkey drop down list click select all to enable all hosts or put a check in the box next to the hosts you want checked, Also check the settings tab to set any options you want, after every update you will need to open the configuration window and click select all or put a check in the box to enable any new hosts added in the update. mediafire direct download links can lockup your browser, I recommend you leave mediafire disabled, USE MEDIAFIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you want the script to be able to automatically update when new versions come out for firefox go to greasemonkey options and make sure the require secure updates box is un-ckecked RE: W.A.R. Links Checker Premium     The first thing is that you must have greasemonkey installed, If you do not have greasemonkey installed you can get it Here     To get W.A.R Links Checker Premium go to it's Homepage and click on the install button.     When the greasemonkey pop-up asks to install the script click install again W.A.R. Links Checker Premium is now installed. 2. Configuration. After installing you need to configure the script before it will work. Opening the configuration window, there is 2 ways to do this... Hit the CTRL+ALT+C keys on your keyboard all at the same time. or Open the configuration window with the greasemonkey dropdown menu 1..click the greasemonkey icon 2.. click on user script commands 3.. click on [W.A.R. Links Checker] Configuration Configuration window. This window Is where you will select the settings to setup the script. filehostings tab. Here is a list of all the file hosts that the script can check. you need to enable the hosts you want the script to check by putting a check in the box next to the host(s) name, You can select only the hosts you want or just click the select all tab to select all hosts. Near the bottom of the host list is a section for Obsolete hosts (hosts that no longer exist) If you put a check in the box it will mark any links from those obsolete hosts as dead links, If un-checked the links will not be marked at all. Containers tab. This is the list of hosts that are used to have a single link to a file page but on that page there are links to many different file hosts, You enable these hosts the same way as the ones in the filehostings tab. NOTE: I am no longer supporting these kinds of hosts in the script so some of these work and some don't. Custom Rules tab If there is a file host that is not in the script and you do not want to wait until i add it you can add the code here so the script will check those links. If you add your own custom rules you will need to delete them if a future script update includes that host. It is not necessary to add custom rules and most users never do, the best way to get a new host added to the script is to just ask on the homepage and i will add it as soon as i can, But if you want to try adding your own rules click the link in the custom rules tab and it will show you instructions on how to do it. Settings Tab Enable keyboard shortcuts (enabled by default) This enables or disables the keyboard shortcuts listed. Color DL links (enabled by default) Here you can change the color for the different types of links. To change just type in the color name or number, If you need help with color names or numbers click on the w3schools.com link for help. Link Settings: These are pretty much self explanatory (put a check in the box to enable feature) Display full links in link containers (does not always work) Icons: These are the icons the script displays next to the file link to indicate if it is live, dead, ect, There are 3 different sets of icons to choose from, or no icons,  just select the ones you prefer. Misc Settings: Autocheck: (enabled by default) tells the script to automaticly check all links Show Progress Stats: shows the box with the number and type of links on the page you are viewing. Display tooltip info: When pointing at a link it shows file size, name, other info (does not work on all links) Refererer anonymizing service: (Enabled by default) when checking links they will be run through a anonymizing site listed in the box. Useful if the site the link is on has been blacklisted by a file host. you can enter any free anonymizing site in the box. Example: http://hiderefer.com/? or http://hidemyass.com/? or http://anonym.to/? To disable this feature delete the text from the box or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+ALT+Z to disable/enable Progress box settings: (added by Yurii, Thanks) By changing these settings you can place the progress box anywhere on your screen, Increase or decrease it's size or change it's shape. To move it to the left or right side of your screen change the horizontal setting. To move it up or down change the vertical setting. To make it bigger or smaller change the scaling setting. you can also make the progress box vertical Horizontal 95.75% vertical 12% Scaling 133% based on a 1600x900 screen resolution (settings courtesy of lynx560 at silent ground) Depending on your screen resolution you may need to play with the settings until it is the way you want it. About Tab Just general info. History of w.a.r. Links Checker. The original w.a.r links checker was created by dkitty in 2011 and was abandoned in 2012. Then it was taken over by WARLC team in 2012 and abandoned again in 2013. I took over updating it in 2013 and Later in 2013 i created the premium version and discontinued old version. Known Issues: If logged in at a premium account it may cause links to not check correctly. If logged in at a premium account make sure to disable direct downloads for the host or it will use up your bandwidth trying to download all their links in the background. RE: W.A.R. Links Checker Premium - mental - 01-18-2019 tampermonkey 4.0 just added a new feature "@connect" It will block scripts from working unless you allow them. I have added the needed line in the w.a.r. code but users will have to do the following for w.a.r. to work 1: goto a website and a screen like this should pop up 2: click the "Always allow all domains" button. (this will allow w.a.r. access to check the links) 3: restart your browser. 4: go back to any website and w.a.r. should now work.
