MEGA broken with WAR
#1
Trying to go to Mega.nz, which forwards to Mega.IO right now, throws an error in browser console, and in a pop-up: "SyntaxError: The expression is not a legal expression."
Not exactly informative, but only resolved by disabling WAR. Mega is working with WAR-lite old-link script, but not with WAR full.

Since the last update i have seen thousands of mega links and so far i have not experienced any errors or pop-ups. If your using waterfox instead of firefox maybe the problem is with waterfox, or the beta version of tampermonkey

with W.A.R. I use normal firefox, Currently version 85.0.2 64bit and tampermonkey version 4.11.6120 and so far i have not had either one of the problems your getting.

Sorry i can't help but i can't fix a problem i can't see.

The error doesn't occur with checked links. It doesn't occur with mega.nz webpage. It pops if you go to mega.io.

no idea why it does that, is there any links out there for mega.io ?, i have never seen one.

No, there aren't. It's, I guess, an alternate MEGA URL. The issue is that going to mega.io homepage with WAR activated pops the error. Enter mega.io in the address bar and see.
It occurs with WAR on Chrome, as well.

The error on Chrome actually explains it.

Code:
mega.io says

MEGA failed to load because..

Filename: https://mega.io/:54
Exception: [lite] SyntaxErorr: Failed to execute 'evaluate' on
'Document': The striing '//a[contains(@href,'adf.ly/') (@href,'u.bb/') or
contains(@href,'9.bb/') or contains(@href,'q.gs/') or
contains(@href,'j.gs/')]' is not a valid XPath expression.

Please click OK to refresh and try again.

I don't use chrome and firefox shows something different.

MEGA failed to load because ..

Filename: eval line 1 > Function:51
Exception: [lite] SyntaxError: The expression is not a legal expression.

Please click OK to refresh and try again.

If the problem persists, please try disabling all third-party browser extensions, update your browser and MEGA browser extension to the latest version. If that does not help, contact support@mega.nz

Since mega.io has no links anyway i'll just make it so W.A.R. does not run on that site.
