I have been gone for a while, I  had a heart attack on July 5th and had triple bypass surgery on Monday and they let me come home today, not pretty but i am still alive.

not sure when i will start doing things again, think i will at least let meds and pain wear off some so i am clear headed.

I had not seen this subject ...
2 years ago soon I had a fibrillation and I fell on my mom at the retirement home, that's what saved me because on the spot nurse and firefighter (voluntary) + a defibrillator and since I have an incorporated.
I wish you good recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes Patatra and patou.
I am feeling better except still a little weak and having a problem with fluid in my left lung that just don't want to clear out and a bad cough.
My Doctor and others say's i should feel better than normal when recovered because of the restored blood flow, but i need to start eating better and be more active and get more exercise or i won't live many more years.

still dealing with a collapsed lung caused by the surgery but doing ok, they say i have healed enough so starting next tuesday i have to go to the hospital for Cardiac Rehab 3 days a week for the next several months to get my strength back.

My doctors say if i want any chance of long term survival i need to get off my computer and get more active, I have already quit as moderator on a couple of sites and spend a lot less time online, I still check here every day to see if something is in need of adding or fixing.

My dad passed away on thursday, I will probably not be doing any work on the scripts for awhile.
